2010 Triathlon Training Program

TrySports TryCharleston Clinics:

  1. Wednesday, March 9 at 6:00pm: Bike Clinic with TrySports Bike Mechanic Chris Moore.  Do you have a fear of getting a flat tire during your race?  Learn how to change it fast and other techniques to keep your bike a well-tuned machine! 
  1. Saturday, March 26th at 8:00am:  Want to pre ride the Half Ironman Course?  Riders will be divided into three groups according to pace (A group 20+mph, B group 17-19 mph, C group 16 mph and under) and no one will be left behind.  All riders provided with Hammer Heed Electrolyte Drink and Hammer Gels.  Each group will have a ride leader.  Meet at the KOA Campground in Mount Pleasant.  A Light lunch will be provided after the ride at TrySports store!  Riders must register in advance.

 

  1. Wednesday, April 20th at 6pm: Transition Clinic with Adam Martin.  Learn how to master the transition from the fastest triathlete in town!  Adam will show you unique shortcuts to make your transition faster and more efficient! 
  1. Wednesday, April 27th at 6:00pm: Q & A session at the store.  If you have any unanswered questions before your race, this is your opportunity to ask the experts.  Not sure what to wear?  Nutrition Questions?  Settle your race jitters by having all of your questions answered. 

To sign up for any of the clinics, please contact Theresa Stratford at theresastratford@trysports.com. The cost per session is $5 for Believe Achieve Club Members and $10 for regular rewards club members. Please sign up in advance.


Wetsuit information: Wetsuit rentals available through TrySports for $50 for a 1 week rental.  Contact the store to rent your suit.  Rent your suit early for best availability.
